6 month old puppy with toilet training problemes!!!!! i REALLY need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
ok so i have a 6 month (male) welsh terrier puppy who still poops in the house. i am getting really fustrated with these constand accedients. he usually only poops on my dads rug on hes side of the bed. hes accedients are usually every week or so. Before i got him in june, i whatched a DVD on how to “house train hem”….bu so far it hasint helped. also, i live on the water and have no fenced in yard so i have to go out with him (with leash).so here are my questions:
-how can i prevent this?
-how do a punish him?
-how can i TOTALY house traine hem.

Oh ya, were also getting him neutered in mid octobre. will this help??
if he is sick you should have him checked by a vet.
but if he is just a normal healthy puppy, every time he goes to the bathroom in the house spank him lightly but firmly on the butt, or tap him on the nose and say NO! right after he does it or if u did not see it take him to the spot and do it then put him outside. repeat this every time he does it and he will learn it is bad. i have three dogs and this has worked for all of them. also make sure you let your dog out as much as possible, since he is only a puppy let him out every hour at least until he becomes old enough to hold it. my puppy is a year old and he can hold it for at least nine hours while i am at school.
neutering him may help if he is doing it because he is marking but you should still train him like this.
